Club History

The Baldwin City Rotary Club was chartered on March 23, 1929. Today our membership includes many long-standing Rotarians (with some serving our local club and the Baldwin community for more than 50 years) as well as many first-time Rotarians. Our diverse group of members includes city leaders, local professionals, public service administrators and other community members all uniting for the common good.

Annual Projects

Our club contributes to the local community of Baldwin City in numerous ways each year. While some of our projects have almost become synonymous with Rotary, we continually look for ways that we can make an impact and benefit the youth of our community and those in need. To support these projects, we rely on the contributions of our members through their time and resources as well as various fundraising efforts throughout the year. Some of the club's annual service projects include:

BHS Senior Scholarship

Rainbow Experience Preschool Support

Baldwin City Emergency Fund

Community Disaster Assistance

Hwy 56 Roadside Cleanup

Dictionaries for 4th Graders

Fourth of July Flags

Community Bulletin Board Care

RYLA Student Sponsor

Adopt-a-Family at Christmas
